The five stages of the Seensteig are a highlight in the Baiersbronn hiking heaven.
On the Seensteig, hikers can walk around the entire district of Baiersbronn in five days and discover incomparable landscapes. It was voted one of the most beautiful hiking trails by the German Hiking Association. The Seensteig runs around Baiersbronn, along the municipal boundary and leads to cirque lakes and peaks. The Seensteig has its own waymark. Since all stage locations are easily accessible by public transport, which is free with the KONUS guest card, hikers can save themselves the hassle of transporting their luggage and can return to their hotel every evening. Sporty hikers can of course extend the stages and hike in less than five days. On the Seensteig, the hiker encounters many special features of the Black Forest at once: a wide variety of forest forms such as mixed and protected forest, cirque lakes and waterfalls, Grinden and the Black Forest National Park.

In the national park area, there are seasonal road closures in the wildlife sanctuaries from the beginning of winter to the end of winter. In particularly sensitive areas, these can last into May.
